Hydrotec & Engineering Consultants provides services for water quality modelling and assessments. Our modelling studies assist the Environment Agency and local authorities in maintaining the river water quality such as Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Ammonia (NH4) and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) etc. based on the Water Framework Directives (WFD) and Fish Framework Directives (FFD) in England and Wales. The statistical analysis of the water quality parameters is performed once the hydrology, hydraulic and water quality models are calibrated and verified with sufficient and reliable observed data where applicable. We also assist with WFD Regulations assessment for a planning application requirement.
